Embark on a 7 day Vietnam Catholic Pilgrimage journey to experience the cultural pilgrimage tour to catholic sites and visit the most sacred churches and cathedrals in Vietnam particularly Our Lady of La Vang.

ITINERARY BY DAY

DAY 1: DA NANG ARRIVAL – HOI AN (-/L/D)

Arrive at Da Nang airport, you will be met and transferred to directly Hoi An. After lunch, you will visit Japanase Coverred Bridge, Phung Hung Ancient House, Phuc Kien Temple, Hoi An Church & Catholic relics. Dinner at local restaurant.

Stay overnight in Hoi An.

DAY 2: OUR LADY OF TRA KIEU – MY SON SANTUARY (B/L/D)

After breakfast, you will go to visit and pray at Tra Kieu church, which was built basing on western architecture in the 17th century. Next to the church is monastery (built in 1867), tradition display house and Maria Church (built in 1898) on the hill, it is surrounded by ancient trees which creates the ancient beauty for this church. In the church, there has a well that is considered as holy water can treat diseases and help the healthy life. Tra Kieu Church is not only a belief area of parishioner around here but also on the Christmas, Tra Kieu Church often holds rites with large scale which attracts many parishioners from the whole nation.

Then continue to visit My Son Holyland, which was discovered by a French scholar named MC Paris .Return to Hoi An Town, free at your own pace. Dinner at local restaurant.

DAY 3: HOI AN – BA NA HILL – OUR LADY OF SAO BIEN (B/L/D)

After breakfast we depart for Ba Na Hills, which is a hill station and resort located in the Truong Son Mountains west of the city of Da Nang, in central Vietnam. It is also known as “green lungs” of the central region and the “Pearl of climate” of Vietnam. If time permits, you will visit Cham Museum and pray at Sao Bien church, an ancient title for the Virgin Mary, mother of Jesus. Sao Bien comes from the Latin transliteration of the title Stella Maris. Dinner at local restaurant.

 Stay overnight in Da Nang.

DAY 4: DA NANG – HUE (B/L/D)

This morning, you will take a 3,5 hour drive to Hue. There will be oppotinuties for  photos taken from the top of Hai Van Pass and Lang Co Beach. Arrive Hue around noon, check in at the hotel. After lunch, you will visit Phu Cam Cathedral, which is situated at Phuoc Vinh, Hue City. The Cathedral was built with modern architecture and designed by the architect Ngo Viet Duc. Then proceed to Thien An Monastery located on the idyllic hills with cool and fresh breeze all year round. Dinner at local restaurant.

 Stay overnight in Hue.

DAY 5: HUE CITY TOUR (B/L/D)

Spend your full day tour visiting Hue Imperial Citadel built on a surface area of over 500 hectares, including the Ancient Citadel and Forbidden Purple City. It is the administrative center, the politics of the Nguyen dynasty and the living areas of the house and the royal Kings. You can visit Thai Hoa Temple, Ngo Mon Gate, Phu Van Lau, Can Chanh Temple, and Dien Tho Palace. Continue to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, Royal Tombs such as Minh Mang and Tu Duc.

Tonight after dinner you will take a boat trip on Perfume River and enjoy Hue traditional music performance.

 Stay overnight in Hue.

DAY 6: HUE – OUR LADY OF LA VANG – PHONG NHA CAVE (B/L/D)

Morning drive to visit the Shrine of our Lady of La Vang (Basilica of Our Lady of La Vang) – a national shrine located in Hai Lang district, Quang Tri Province, an important place of pilgrimage of Catholics Vietnam.

On the car, our guide will introduce you some information about DMZ of Quang Tri including The Old Citadel, Hien Luong Bridge, and Ben Hai River, Doc Mieu Base.

After lunch at restaurant, we board a boat trip on Son River to visit Phong Nha cave which contains many fascinating rock formations given beautiful names such as the “Lion”, the “Fairy Caves”, the “Royal Court”, and the “Buddha statues”. Transfer back to Hue and have dinner at local restaurant.

Stay overnight in Hue.

DAY 7: HUE DEPARTURE (B/-/-)

Free at leisure till transferring to airport for flight to Hanoi/Saigon to take your connecting flight home. End of services.
