ITINERARY BY DAY
DAY 1: SAIGON ARRIVAL
Be met at Tan Son Nhat airport and transfered to your hotel in the center of Saigon. The rest of the day is free for your own enjoyment. Dinner on your own. Overnight at hotel in Saigon.
DAY 2: SAIGON – CU CHI – SAIGON (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel.
08:00 You will be picked up at your hotel. Start the excursion to visit Cu Chi tunnels, the incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. Back to Ho Chi Minh city for lunch. In the afternoon, visit War museum, China town, Thien Hau temple, Notre Dame cathedral & Ben Thanh market. Dinner on your own. Overnight at hotel in Saigon.
DAY 3: SAIGON – MY THO – SAIGON (B/L/-)
Breakfast at hotel.
08:00 Heading out of the bustling city, we ride along rice fields to My Tho, one of the Mekong Delta provinces. Upon arrival in My Tho, we embark on a boat trip navigating around the small canals in the delta region, which pass My Tho fruit markets. Join in with daily activities of local people and enjoy the atmosphere of water world along the canals and along the Tien river. The exciting cruise continues to Unicorn island, here you can taste many seasonal fruits and enjoy the local traditional music, performed by the islanders. Lunch at a typical country garden house. Next stops are the coconut candy “mill” and some other local industries in Ben Tre province. Drive back to Saigon. Dinner on your own. Overnight at hotel in Saigon.
DAY 4: SAIGON – DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at hotel.
Free time for shopping or optional visits before being transfered to Tan Son Nhat Airport for departure.

Mekong Delta and Cu chi tunnels tours
10 of us ranging from 7-65 took these two tours. Lan Anh took us to the Mekong Delta and was very friendly and informative. Her English was brilliant and she even had great colloquial language! A great sense of humor added to the great day. A brilliant ride through a village and walking through a local market. Beautiful seafood lunch with massive tiger prawns!
Joseph and driver uncle Tai took us to the cu chi tunnels. During conversation it was mentioned it was my daughters 12th birthday. Joseph was so happy and excited about it. We did an amazing tour of the tunnels and went to lunch where Joseph organised a cake for my daughter! This was no extra cost and a gorgeous surprise! Thanks guys!!
